As one of the biggest Olympics in decades, the long-awaited 2020 Tokyo Olympics has produced some stellar boxing so far. If he can come through that, Davis has a pretty strong run at getting all the way to the Final and thus competing for a medal.

Shakhobidin Zoirov (+175)
At the Flyweight level, expect to see Uzbek star Shakhobidin Zoirov reach the Final. An outright favorite and a previous champion at the Olympics, this is a boxer with a fearsome finish and a killer streak – which can be rare in the Flyweight division. At 28, he has enjoyed a 3-0 professional record as well as dominating at this particular level.
However, the Flyweight division is a hugely talented field in Tokyo. To reach his current phase, the Last Sixteen, Zoirov had to overcome Batuhan Ciftci, winning 5-0 against the talented Turk. Seen as the clear favorite at this level, though, Zoirov is a good bet for anyone involved in boxing betting.
Caroline Dubois (+550)
Seen as an outsider prior to the beginning of the Olympics, British star Caroline Dubois has changed the narrative around herself completely. A thorough destruction of US favorite Rashida Ellis, Dubois came through 3-0 and put herself into the Quarter Finals with a commanding, mature performance.
With many falling around her who were seen as more likely favorites, then, Dubois can look at the field and see a clear path to winning gold. With 37 fights already by age 20, she looks to have every opportunity to make good on her proud record of winning youth championships.
Buse Naz Cakiroglu (+125)
An absolute machine in the ring, Buse Naz Cakiroglu is one of the stars of Turkish sport. The 25-year-old has enjoyed a stellar career so far, and has won medals at championships in the past. Her victory over Tursunoy Rakhimova was seen as a huge step in the right direction. Now, she has a clear path to winning a gold medal and is seen as the clear favorite who remains. She’ll need to overcome Jutamas Jitpong of Thailand in a highly anticipated Quarter Final, but most believe she has the experience and the winning habits to go all the way.
Pat McCormack (Evens)
Beloved for his go-ahead style, Sunderland-born Pat McCormack is seen as a fine choice for this particular event. The 26-year-old is regarded as the best British boxer at the Olympics, and his impressive form so far has elevated him to a Semi-Final where he will face off against Aidan Walsh of Ireland. An impressive win over Bobo Usmon Baturov was seen as a flagship moment for the boxer who has previously competed at the Olympics.
This could be seen as one of the key moments in his career, and an opportunity to really put his name out there in the boxing community. If he can defeat the similarly impressive Walsh in the Semis, a medal is his we think.
