It was another good day yesterday for our betting picks picks, we both managed to get it right that Luka Modric would be a deciding player in the Croatia – Scotland matchup, managing to push Croatia into the round of 16, as well England taking care of business vs the Czech Republic and securing the top stop in their group.
Hitting on both bets added to our profit total for betting on soccer in the the Euro 2020, these are our stats so far:
Today there are four games on the schedule to finish up the remaining group and all of our recommended sportsbooks are offering as many markets on the games as you can imagine.
Sweden – Poland
Both teams were pretty evenly matched in the FIFA world rankings heading into the tournament and we expect that to carry over into this important game, where Poland has a shot at making it as one of the best 3rd place finishers, whereas Sweden will look for the opportunity to hang on to the top place in the group or make it as 2nd through a tie. Sweden are pretty good defensively and we think they’ll make the most of this opportunity.
Slovakia – Spain
Spain is still looking for its first win in the Euro 2020 tournament, and to secure a spot in the playoff round they’ll need to.
We think that ultimately they’ll come out showing a higher sense of urgency, and vs Slovakia who are rated the 36th best team in the world, we think that they will as they’ll be in danger of not qualifying for the playoffs with either a tie or a loss.
Spain to win by 2 or more, -200
Portugal – France
One of the most anticipated group stage matchups in the tournament and both are considered top 5 teams in the world per FIFA rankings.
Both teams are incredibly strong in international play, Portugal are the defending Euro champions and France the favorite to enter the tournament. Expect cracking play in this one, but when it comes down to it, a pretty tight game with neither team looking to lose as much as possible.
Under 2.5 goals -140
Germany – Hungary
There were lots of goals in Germany’s previous game against Portugal and Hungary have also been delivering a good fight so far in the tournament.
Even through the Germans hadn't looked overwhelming in the Euro 2020 qualifiers and been bumped down to the 12th ranked spot in the FIFA world rankings, they were still considered one of the favorites to both win their group and the whole tournament.
While they had trouble scoring in the first game vs France, they showed in their last game vs Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal just why they had been considered the favorites. We think they'll continue the form and carry on from there.
On the other end, Hungary at 1 point so far is still competing to finish the group play off with qualification for the round of 16, so we’re expecting a bit of an open game and we’re taking our chances with a plus payout bet on the goal line.
Over 3.5 goals, +110
Euro 2020 Betting
Can I bet on the result of a game if it's already started?Yes sure, you just have to use the live betting section of the sportsbook you are using. All of our recommended sportsbooks feature live betting sections.
If a favorite in a game has higher odds thanks to a handicap -1. What does handicap mean?Betting on a team with a handicap makes up for more favorable odds. Handicap -1 means that the team you bet on starts the game with a goal behind, meaning they need to win the match with two goals or more for your bet to be a winner. Should they win by exactly one, your bet is a push and the stake returned to your account.
I want to put my money on a team with really high odds. Is this a good idea? There is a reason the odds are high: because chances are small that that team will win the match. So, you might win more, but the chances of winning are smaller. If you think the high odds doesn't represent the actual chance of the outcome, then of course you have a good bet on your hands.
I want to combine the outcome with the exact score, is this possible? You can combine such bets at most sportsbooks, just use the Bet Builder function offered by most of our recommended sportsbooks.
